OUR TAKE ON THE AUDI RS4

Let’s start with acceleration. The quoted 0-60mph time is 4.1 seconds, which is even quicker than what Audi advertises. That’s thanks to its big 3.0-litre capacity engine producing 444 horsepower and 600 NM of torque. Most of the torque is available in the lower rpm range, which means the RS4 pulls in any gear. The RS4 engine also has a nice grunt at the higher end of the rpm range, meaning it’s capable of reaching its top speed of 155mph.

Let’s talk about handling capability. Simply put, the Audi RS4 handles well. The suspension has different settings, and in dynamic mode, the suspension stiffens up to provide extra grip. However, the steering doesn’t offer much feedback from the road, and there’s not as much feel from it as you would get in a BMW.

Putting the car into a dynamic road makes the steering a bit heavier, but it still lacks the desired feel. The steering is precise, and driving the Audi RS4 feels very much like driving a go-kart. Whichever way you turn the steering wheel, the car will go in that direction.
